LOCALLY MADE INDEPENDENT FILM "DOING THERAPY" TO AIR ON MCA-TV

PITTSBURGH, PA – Aug. 3, 2005 – "Doing Therapy," an independent film set and made in Pittsburgh, will air on Moon Community Access Television (MCA-TV) on Wed., Aug. 17, 8:30 p.m.

The film, which successfully screened last Thursday at Loews Theater at the Waterfront to an audience of about 500, is a feature-length romantic comedy/drama about a high-maintenance Hollywood actress whose panic attacks prompt her to seek the help of a slovenly, Pittsburgh-based psychologist who has a few issues of his own.

"While many local independent films focus on horror or action, I wanted to create a fun, melodramatic, tale that centers around the classic theme of two polar opposites stuck together in a seemingly impossible situation," said Joe Giacobello, the film’s writer, producer, director, and leading man. "The film is perfect for the MCA-TV family audience, and I think viewers will laugh out loud at this lighthearted, often touching, story."

"Doing Therapy" stars Joe Giacobello and Barbara Winters and features David Dietz, Tom Interval and Jackson Kernion. Additional air dates will be announced on the Bello Productions and MCA-TV Web sites. To learn more about "Doing Therapy," visit www.bellofilms.com.
