Acting Resume Head Shot Photo Gallery Reviews
Joe Giacobello, originally from Erie, Pennsylvania, moved to Pittsburgh eight years ago. Joe’s acting experience began in community theater, where he played a wide variety of mostly comic roles at the Erie Playhouse, the Roadhouse Theater, and other popular Erie venues.
A polished comic, he has performed stand-up routines and improvisation at such comedy clubs as The Funny Bone and The Improv and has been a guest on the KDKA Radio Morning Show With Larry Richert.
Eventually, Joe took an interest in film and began writing scripts for personal and industrial video productions. In 1998, after launching Bello Productions, he wrote, directed, and starred in "Mr. G.," a local sitcom that follows the zany adventures of an offbeat schoolteacher in and out of the classroom.
Filmed and aired on Pittsburgh Cable Television (PCTV), "Mr. G." drew very good reviews from local publications and received excellent comments from area residents.
From Erie theaters to Pittsburgh comedy clubs, Joe Giacobello’s offbeat sense of humor has kept people laughing for more than 20 years. To learn more about Joe, check out his resume here, visit the News section of this site, or contact him now.
